Trading Terms and Conditions

Whether you are a large department store or would simply like some product for your home, Displayline is happy to assist you with your shop fittings, display & shelving requirements. You don't have to have a business or an ABN to shop at Displayline.

Payment & Our Bank Details

Displayline accepts the following payment methods:

Credit Cards

Displayline accepts payment via the following credit cards with the following surcharges.  

Visa and MasterCard - 1% surcharge on orders over $100

AMEX - 1.5% surcharge on all orders.

Credit Terms

CUSTOMER ACCOUNT TYPE 1: Cash Accounts - Payment for Sales Orders must be received in full prior to any dispatch. No exceptions.

CUSTOMER ACCOUNT TYPE 2: Valid 30 Day Accounts (To approved customers) - Sales orders placed must be accompanied by an Authorised Purchase Order

Displayline credit terms are strictly 30 Days.

Failure to adhere to our credit terms will result in 30 Day Accounts being placed on stop credit.

Custom Solutions

A payment of a deposit of 50% or more of the total sales order value must be provided at the time of ordering. The balance of the order must be paid in accordance with the relevant customer type accounts outlined above. Title of any goods sold by Displayline does not pass to the purchaser until the account has been settled in full.

Reserving Stock for Orders

Stock is only reserved for customers once an official Displayline Sales Order is generated. Quotations provided by Displayline do not reserve stock.

Sales Orders are only valid for a period of ten business days from the date they were originated.

Sales orders will only be valid for periods longer than ten business days when one of the following conditions are met:

  • A payment of deposit of 50% or more of the total sales order value is provided

  • The provision of an authorised Purchase Order (only applicable to customers with a valid 30 Day Account)

  • Express consent from a Director of Displayline.

Quality Guarantee

We proudly offer all our customers a 30 DAY QUALITY GUARANTEE on all our Off the Shelf products.

Should you find any manufacturing fault with any of our products you can return the item for exchange, credit note or in limited circumstances a full refund. If there is any problem with any product purchased from Displayline please let us know as soon as possible.

Exchange Policy and Credit Notes

For an exchange or credit note to be provided the following conditions must be met:

  • Displayline must be contacted within 7 days from the original date of purchase.

  • The Tax Invoice relating to the purchase must be provided.

  • Credit notes must be redeemed 6 months from original issue date.

  • A refund or credit note will not be granted for change of mind.

  • An exchange or credit note will not be provided if products have been worn or used, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken.

  • All products must be returned in their original and saleable condition.

  • Freight charges may apply to any exchanged items.

This will be at the discretion of Displayline and will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Displayline may charge a 20% restocking fee on the total value of the goods being returned.

REFUNDS

A refund will only be provided where the following conditions are met:

  • There is a fault with the operational quality and/or appearance of a product that renders it unfit for intended use.

  • Displayline has been contacted within 7 days from the original date of purchase.

  • The Tax Invoice relating to the purchase has been provided.

  • All refunds must be approved by the Manager.

Cheques, debit cards and cash will be refunded to the nominated bank account once details are provided by the customer.

Credit card refunds must be processed back onto the original credit card.

The refund policy does not apply to products which have been worn or used, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken.

If the product is not considered faulty or has been damaged due to inappropriate use, an exchange, credit note or refund will not be issued.

A refund or credit note will not be granted for change of mind.

Exceptions

Unfortunately Displayline cannot offer an exchange, credit note or refund on the following items:

  • Custom made products

  • Any product/s specifically cut to size at your request

  • Any product/s powder coated at your request

  • Discontinued or display stock

  • Freight charges will not be refunded

DELIVERY AND STORE PICK UPS

All orders placed through this website via the enquiry box and/or email are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Displayline. Once we have received your order we will check for stock availability. We will contact you if there are any items that might be out of stock, and when they are due back in stock.

We may vary prices in the event of price changes or mistakes on reasonable prior notice to you. If we request payment for increased prices, you may cancel the order by giving notice to Displayline, which must be received within seven days of the announcement of the increase.

Store pick ups

Customers who wish to pick up their order from our showroom are also welcome to pay in-store. If you choose to make payment via EFT/direct deposit, you will receive a copy of your order with our banking details included at the bottom of the PDF file. Please note that orders paid via EFT/ direct deposit must clear in our bank account prior to the collection of items. Payment receipts or remittance advice are not sufficient evidence that the funds have been cleared.

Delivery

We deliver all around Australia! For larger orders we use the services of general carriers such as Direct Freight. For smaller orders we use Australia Post where possible. For international customers, please email sales@displayline.com for a delivery quote.

Freight Charges

Freight charges are calculated based on both the weight and volume of the goods, as well as where the goods are being delivered to. Please note regional areas may incur longer delivery time frames as well as higher delivery charges.

​

If you feel that delivery is too expensive please contact 08 8223 1461 and speak to one of our customer service representatives and we may be able to arrange another delivery option. Alternatively you can arrange your own carrier to deliver the goods.

​

Displayline or its agent will deliver the goods you order to the address you specify in your order, within the agreed time frame, subject to their availability. Where the goods are not available we will notify you of this as soon as possible. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods will be presumed to be authorised­­ to receive the goods. In most cases deliveries need to be signed for. In some cases the customer can request to leave the item without a signature, this is known as “authority to leave.” The customer acknowledges they do this at their own risk. Written consent must be given to Displayline by the customer.

Expected delivery times may vary depending on a number of factors including the freight carrier and service chosen, the location of the dispatch warehouse and the delivery postcode.

​

Title & Risk

Title to the goods purchased on this site does not pass from Displayline to you until we have received payment in full for the goods. All risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

​

Product Information, Prices & Photos

Displayline aims to include up-to-date pictures and specifications of all of the goods. However, our picture and/or description of the goods may differ from the actual goods. Images are for illustration purposes only, actual product may differ.

Currency

All prices quoted on the Displayline website are quoted in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST except where stated.

Clearance, Sale & Stock to Clear Products

All Clearance products are sold on a No Returns basis and are subject to these Terms & Conditions of purchase. Clearance products are either new, ex-demo, or have some minor cosmetic imperfection.

​

Due to the limited stock availability of clearance products, neither placement of an order, nor email confirmation that we have received your order, guarantees fulfillment of that order. Orders are processed on a first-come first served-basis and we will be considered to have accepted your order only by delivering the goods. If we cannot accept your order for any reason, we will notify you by telephone or email.

​

If your order is unsuccessful because the stock has been purchased by an order prior to yours, Displayline is not required to supply you with any alternative products and has no liability to you whatsoever.
